First and foremost, I would like to appreciate my little sister and let her know how proud I am of her. I am writing this post after she asked me to give her a glass of hot water because she’s developing a fever after consecutive sleepless nights. Things were never smooth during the past months, especially that some people never really understood her thru their judgments. There were lots of adjustments and they were never easy, but still she did it. She stood up and continued to fight. And now, the baby boy we all longed to come out has finally arrived. When my little sister becomes a mother, her life is about to change in so many ways, and she is also about to change even more.
When Little Sister Becomes a Mother
Every single time you have a problem, you always run to me for advice. But, what you don’t know is you inspire me in so many ways, especially your courage. Know that becoming a mother will change every part of you, in ways we never thought possible. I’m not talking by experience but that’s how it’s gonna be. The first thing to change is your heart is going to triple in size, or even more. It will grow so big because it will be filled with so much love. Wew. I can’t believe that another angel in the family will cause it when little sister becomes a mother.

The old you will soon become a distant memory…
Don’t be scared. The future is uncertain and a lot of things will change. The old you and all the things you’ve done before will soon become a distant memory. When you look at the old pictures, you may feel envious of your old self, especially having that flat tummy! But, don’t worry because the old you was never stronger. She didn’t have the strength that you have now – the strength of a mother to get up after being so exhausted and the strength to do the hard things which the old you was never willing of doing before.
You are a fighter – giving birth to a 7.9 lb baby boy thru a normal delivery. You’ve always been a fighter and I never doubted you. Again, you inspire me. If you did it, I know also I can, too. Since you went ahead of me, just know that I always have your back. The journey now that you took may be a a little scary, but it’s okay because you can do this! I am always proud of you.
We love you and Baby Jayden Airon!
