Tieza Botanical Garden: Flower Garden by Lake Malubog

You probably heard about Sirao Flower Garden – The Little Amsterdam in Busay, Cebu. Busay. Busay in Cebu has a lot to offer to both locals and tourists. Aside from Sirao Flower Garden, we have the Temple of Leah, Top of Cebu, and the ‘not-yet-flocked by tourists’. This destination is not new anymore because we payed a visit in this garden sometime last year. However, until now, this garden somehow remains a secret. If you haven’t been there, let’s take a quick visual tour of Tieza Botanical Garden: Flower Garden by Lake Malubog.

HOW TO GET TO TIEZA BOTANICAL GARDEN

Option 1: If you have a private vehicle, head to Busay. Watch out for the sign Holiday Pool at your right. Then, go on the descending road. TIP: It is better to park your vehicle near the turning point since you will be approaching a rough road. From that point, just ride a motorcycle (habal-habal). It will cost P50/pax/way.
Option 2: With the two options, this one is much better. Ride a jeepney/taxi heading to JY Square Mall. From there, ride a motorcycle (habal-habal) and tell the driver that you will be going to Barangay Malubog – Tieza Botanical Garden. It will cost you around P100-P200/pax/way. Well, it still depends on your way of negotiating.

THE GALLERY

TIEZA Botanical Garden was set to open for public last March 2017. When we went there last year, it was not yet formally opened. There were cottages being built too during that time. Basically, the place was still developing. We wish we could pay a visit to know how it has been developed now. As for the entrance fee, we only payed  P10/pax.
