There is no need to buy Belgian or Swiss chocolates because Davao also produces world-class chocolates. We found this Cacao de Davao when we went to Abreeza Mall in Davao today. I was really fascinated with their products. They even have free tastes which include mint cocoa and varying percentage of dark cocoa. Cocoa or Tablea is defined as ground roasted nibs from pure fermented cacao beans. It is made sure that there are no preservatives and/or additives. This pure cocoa is then molded into desired shapes – blocks, balls or tablets.

Davao has been recognised as the cocoa capital of the Philippines. The fine flavor cacao varieties empower the farming communities. Products from cacao de davao include the following: chocolate liquor, tablea, cacao nibs, cocoa butter, and other flavored cacao by-products.

They produce chocolates which are pure. Even if some of these chocolates have fillings, rest assured that they are made with heart. Below are some of the cacao de davao with fillings.
