Gyeongbokgung Palace is the true symbol of rising up again, strong and beautiful. It was abandoned for 2 centuries after it was totally burned down due to Japanese invasion. Now, after restoration, it is the most beautiful and the largest grand palace in South Korea. The Royal Guard changing ceremony is also a reenactment of the ancient royal palace guards in charge of the gate. This is done everyday, rain or shine, except during heavy rain or snow.

First time to write about our travel to the dazzling city of Seoul in South Korea. First off is the Han River. One of the reasons why this was included in our itinerary was to satisfy our curiosity: to see for ourselves the favorite spot of jumpers. Months before we went there, rate of suicide attempts at Han River was on the rise. The killer? Depression.
